I have taken a lot of reefers to the Wytheville Gatorade. They have told me they don't want them but they can't refuse them as long as Indy keeps loading them.

Were any of you folks pulling out of Hill Phoenix today around 1:30? I had to swing by my CDL school to let my weekend-only instructors know that I'd passed the test and got my license. And they're right *there* next to Hill Phoenix. Saw an Abilene truck pulling out, and I confess I got a little nosy to see if maybe it was someone from this thread. The driver was a younger dude, black hair, Duck Dynasty beard.

If that was you, the old red-headed guy with the beard in the silver four-wheeler was me. Sorry if I caused you a little agita by acting like I didn't know how to drive. :D

The word needs to go out that reefers weigh 2000 lbs more and to load them accordingly.

Haven't been home since I started but I rent a car for my days off.

800 miles is an 11 hour driving shift...in a much more comfortable vehicle and without the dot clock chasing you.

Me? As often as I want, but my routine is out 2-2.5 weeks, then home. When I train it's a 3 week ordeal at a time.

Carl, my last trainee, who is doing great, lives near that truck stop and parks there on his hometime.

I don't keep a car at the Yard anymore after it sit for six months without moving... I figure the rental option or Uber if I ever needed to go someplace.
