Nothing more embarrassing than getting to a consignee and have them complain about a dirty trailer.

It was a sealed HP load I got on a swap so I couldn't have cleaned it before. It had so much gravel in it they had trouble wheeling the coolers off.

All I could do was apologise as I am sure they weren't interested in hearing how it wasn't my fault.

I know I'll empty out somewhere after having picked up a preloaded box and wonder how in the world the thing got loaded in the first place, knowing the debris left behind could not have possibly come from that customer.

Yeah I picked up one from the yard that looked like it had been playing in the Sierra desert.
But the one that really burned me up was the one I picked up from a team in Reno, talk about sorry.

That problem is twofold. The last one to pull it didn't clean it and the shipper loaded it anyway leaving the last one (you) holding the bag. Not good! :biggrin_25513:

Those seals only started showing up less then a year ago. The only thing they're good for is me not having to put my lock on the trailer. I've wondered just how important they are if HP can't even be bothered to put the seal on. The first thing I do is break the seal, if it's even on, and make sure the coolers are headed in the same direction as my bills and truck.

Not a word. I still wonder from time to time what ever happened to him. I fight off the worst of thoughts whenever I do. He never struck me as the type to just disappear like that.

That's weird. Did U only know him thru driving school or previously?

Or maybe he got out of the industry and was in someway embarrassed to share that with U

We had a LOT of that happen with WS and multi stop furniture deliveries. Especially from our SFS CA terminal. The most senior driver there (28 years I think) once had a 12 stop in multiple states ending in NJ. It was loaded completely backwards. He drove to NJ and then started his run back for the stops. Man there was fire in the air that day .... LOL
