@KD5AXG - Who is your fm? Sounds like you need to have a chat with Alan Jones and whoever that person is. Be prepared with every issue you have and possible solutions. Good luck.

    MidWest_MacDaddy and Lonesome Thank this.

Victor Ferrell is who I'm told is my FM. I have yet to meet him or speak with him that I know of. Most contact I've had is with Jo Toppet. She was a PT dispatcher, but now I hear that she is full time with the loss of Jessica and Trish getting another position within Abilene.

My big issue is that I don't know anyone but Bill. I'd have to ask him who is who.

And, do we have DM's, FM's or both. I have and will always call them dispatchers as there is no managerial duties for them to do. They are assistants to us, not bosses or supervisors. But that is JMHO. I'll be interested in y'all's take on this.

Ok, and you were on the yard after receiving that QC Message, did you take the opportunity to go talk to your FM like I suggested???

One must be a bit proactive at times.

Not saying someone didn't drop the ball by not calling you back, BUT we must be part of the solution too... Please don't just wait for them to do it... Obviously, lately, they have things happening in that area of the office... So contact your FM and talk with him about things... Please.

But also, please don't expect 700 miles of daylight driving within 11 hours... And no NE...

Not happening.... And when it does...

Count it as a good day... :)

No, don't bother Bill... He has things to do.

Just walk up to the window and ask to see Vic and introduce yourself... Or call in and talk to Alan Jones about meeting face to face with him.

I think more happens behind the scenes than just sending us our trips... We have Planners that are responsible for coordinating loads and we have Drivers responsible for moving loads... But there are plenty of other things happening between the two... Just my take on it.
