It might be nice in San Diego but it sure is the pits here in Texas. I'm sitting in the middle of ranger hill on 20 with about a thousand of my best friends waiting for them to open the road. Texas needs to join the 21st century and invest in a few sand trucks and plows.

I called the reciever and told them I would be there around noon tomorrow. They said as long as I'm there before midnight I would be able to drop my loaded trailer. Hell, he even gave me the number for the empty to take. I also called into dispatch to let them know what time ill be empty. Tim told me I'll have a loaded Walmart load to hook to going back to gordonsville. Oh cool, they just opened up the roads, now it'll be a mad dash going west.

Sitting at the Pilot in Hesperia waiting for a jumpstart 3rd one since getting the truck in August. Once I'm running picking up at Colton cold storage for a run to Henderson NC. Shop says batteries are okay but I don't think they really checked. Anyone else having starting issues with the new Freightliners after short overnight shutdowns?

Not me, yet. With just 3600 miles on the clock I'm hoping it will be a while before poop happens. But, I do need a new passenger side windshield though, thanks to that crap I was in yesterday. We stopped earlier for fuel at Gila Bend and I had all the snow and ice just falling all over the fuel island. Rv'ers were all over the place taking pictures. I felt as though I had become famous.

JB, they are in the 21st economics...lol. Heck out of all the years driving you should know by now that NC and SC share a plow. Just hope it doesn't snow in the state that doesn't have it that year haha

Usually sometime during the night my heater will shut down from low voltage. Good thing I like sleeping in the cold.
