I'll run New Years too. Though have a dang dr's appt on the 3rd. Stupid blood thinners out of whack.

 

Just wanted to stop in and wish everyone Merry Christmas. Been running pretty well these past few weeks since getting a new FM. Walter has been wonderful and miles have really improved. I can say that I had the same FM that JB had and had the exact same experience with her. But, that is now water undr the bridge.

I am also impressed with the way the company has treated me and for the surprise present in my check this past time. It was definitely not expected.

Done, holiday over, time to head back to work in the morning. I need to go to Miami and pick up this empty reefer that seems to have been misplaced the last week. I called into dispatch to let Tim know I'll have it about 10am and to have the load planner have me something to reload with. I plan on being back in Richmond Saturday morning to grab George and a team load to head back out. Now that the holiday is over I plan on going back to being home every 2 weeks. I figure 2 round trips to the coast in a pay period is sufficient for me. Right now the wife and I are off to the Apple store to get our new iphones. Oh boy.

 

Hey Johnboy, got my wife her IPhone, but I couldn't get one as I am locked into my phone contract for another 18 months. Also bought her a new SUV, a 2014 Mazda CX-5 for Christmas. She is not complaining. Guess I'll see you Saturday morning in RIC.

 

Good for you, good luck with the new car. I'll know sometime tomorrow what they will be doing with me. Are you going to drive your car to Richmond? I'll call you when I'm headed north with an ETA. Enjoy the rest of your time home.

 

Don't know yet, depends what they do with you. My pay check came up short $500 or thereabouts. Maybe the last trip from California didn't get included. Maybe the honeymoon is over? Guess I'll see when my stub comes. Drive safe. Got to do my laundry today. Put it off and pay my bills too. Last day off gotta gear up.

 

Mine too was about 500 light. I should have taken home $3300ish and only took home $2800. My guess is they didn't pay us for that last trip in from California. Call me later today if you get your statement in, I won't see mine until I get to the yard tomorrow.

Good to see today, I know only in passing. Hope you have a good safe trip, and a Happy and Healthy New Year. I am in Tampa tonight, but tomorrow, after dropping its off to Boynton, first time in 6 weeks. I am looking foward to a few days off.
