Yes all long runs... Rockies to Midwest and back... 1 load eastbound, 1 load westbound, and sometimes a short local load headed back to, or near, the yard.

    I average 62 to 65 daily.

I have to agree with the others, that is some serious trucking miles. Good work.

“Home weekly” can mean that you stop by the house 1 day a week or 1 day every other week. “Home weekends” is what you’re looking for.

I sure as Hell wouldn’t run team because I’m trying to get by the house. The ONLY way I’d run team is because the pay would be obscene. I would put up with a lot for obscene money. Running balls to the wall for okay money just to get by the house would get old quickly.

I suppose it would. I have a medical issue that I am still trying to resolve and so for now it is probably wise to try to get home a couple of days per week, preferably with one or more of those days during m-f to for doctor appointments.

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

Run for a temp service and be home when you need to be home. The job you posted about can make no guarantees on anything.

takes me 47-50 hr to achieve 2700 mi (mon-fri). this includes 15 +/- drop and hooks on the week. i really try not to work that hard, but it’s not always up to me. id be happy with 2500 mi.

They'll say "You can't do that"...

    But, yes you can.
    I do it too.
    And without cheating.
You just have to stay after it.

I regularly do 3600-3700 while putting off 5-8 stops and a pickup.

If you sit in grocery docks, like some do, 6 to 8 hrs a day loading or unloading... you don't get anything done.

    It's about the freight.

    D.Tibbitt and Cattleman84 Thank this.

That would be a great route, especially in Winter.
