adding a pintle hitch to tractor w/air suspension

    LTK, please allow me to clarify something.....the airline to the air pot should be hooked into your 'supply' line, not the 'service' line as you have indicated. The reason is so that when you charge your trailer air system, the small jaw in the hitch provides constant pressure on the trailer eye at all times. This is like a cushion, which takes the slop out of the hitch, loaded or empty. This constant pressure also helps with premature wear of the hitch.
