1. Get some airtabs. 2. Don't run a light trailer in strong winds... you can feel what's happening to your truck in the seat of your pants as you go down the road. When your butt starts telling you it's dicey, it's time to park it.

Vortex Generators are basically the same thing that Condo Cruiser posted about. They are also used on older airplanes as he posted.
Vortex Generators reduce drag and improve aerodynamics. -
Unfortunately trailer was empty and I was on my way to pick up a load, on a country road with no shoulders, it happened so fast wind started blowing so hard, it took me only 2-3 minutes to find a gravel road where I can turn and park but that was a close call.

They probably won't help with side winds much...and this is my main concern...
