Oh, by the way, they must have updated the iOS version of the App as I now have 30 days of offline viewing before the show/movie is inaccessible... Up from the 48 hours I had at first.

Now I can't seem to download to my phone. There is no download icon anywhere. Just 3 days ago I downloaded 3 shows straight to my phone. Guess I need to call Amazon, streaming still works though and my tablet can download. Weird.

I contacted Amazon. Apparently you can't download over your mobile network you must be connected to wifi. I don't understand why Amazon cares what type of network you are using. My data usage is between me and my provider. Anyway I sent in some feedback hopefully everyone else will as well. I don't understand why they would put such a fault in an otherwise great idea. If wifi was not a problem I wouldn't be using the download feature very often now would I?

Could you hot spot your phone and connect your tablet to that wifi signal. Would that work?

i would see it as you can, i'm not a subscriber of the amazon prime. but the other guy was saying not possible with the app on your phone using the phone's internet. so, yeah, use another device with your phone as the hotspot.

the only problem i see, is teh carrier that limits your gigabytes. (verizon). whereas, i also have sprint. UNLIMITED.

i was gonna check out the subscription. $99 a year. i think i'll pass. i'd like to be able to check out the service on a month to month basis. like netflix.
