An effective s/d weapon within most of our reach?

It's called the ghetto blackjack. Lived in New York city during the early 80's. Street gangs would swing knives, fists, elbows and tube socks with a q-ball in it. I nice sized rock will do. P.S. You might want to keep the 2 separated until needed. You don't want to be driving around with a blackjack (an illegal weapon) in your truck.

i use the kwai chang caine method, walk around humble with my head down, barefoot, and blowing on a flute, but ready to kick them to the curb.

I can attest to the fact that if you shoot yourself in the eye with it, you aren't going to be seeing anything for quite a while.
