An effective s/d weapon within most of our reach?

I was at a gun show way back and saw a piece very similar. The guy selling it claimed it did. Different design, I suppose.

 

That would be an arm breaker, if you could even hang on to it.

 

I bet I could shoot that thing. Handled a 500 mag no issue. Bring it on

 

I think if I went OTR armed I'd go with a .410 Judge or Governor. It'd get an assailant's attention without killing folks down range. Handgun accuracy is notoriously low, no matter how many Clint Eastwood movies you've seen.

 

Shield 9mm with gold dots in it. I only bring it in the truck for overnights when I sleep. Never know where I'll end up when I'm tired of driving plus it's hard to find a spot on I80 so I might end up in a back parking lot.

 

Yeah, .357s to boot.

I just remember laughing and thinking to myself "Well, this is the freakiest thing I'll see at this show."

And it was...although a few people there nearly had it beat on the bizarro meter.

 

I carry a Springfield xds .45 when the feeling hits me, if not I have my grandfather's old tire knocker

 

I'm not looking to pick a fight but you only have to miss once to hit a bystander. I don't want that on my conscience.
