    Not a done deal. In fact it is just starting with the FMCSA issuing a "Notice of Proposed Rulemaking" on this. Being pushed bu the ATA, of course. I'm betting the safety Nazis like Crash will be up in arms.

    I graduated from the USA's premier aviation university. The school had self-test authority from the FAA. Self-testing is a good thing for good schools and a dangerous and terrible idea for bad schools.

    You are correct but there very few schools that are PTDI certified, Michigan only had one, now there are none.
