So I am at home for my 10 hour break. Ran 671 miles today stopping only once for the required 30 minute waste of time. I am a little out of route but the extra fuel was worth coming through the house to offload the charcoal and other items I don't need in the truck. Plus I needed to do some laundry. Will be headed out tomorrow morning to make my delivery at 1900. Truck is still running like a champ. No issues at all with it. I managed to sneak through Atlanta right before rush hour and only got held up once I got on 85 north, but that lasted less than 5 miles. Bet I can't do that again. Basically an uneventful day. Looking forward to the rest of the week since I am off to such a good start. Until next time...

That gift in the form of those charcoal must have been nice. I never turn down or discard those type of gifts. One thing that's charcoal is good for is getting rid of a truck that's been previously smoked in.

Like chicknwing said, it's your truck. I asked about bringing dogs, specifically Great Danes, when I was looking for information for my cousin. I was told "Yes, but they have to be on a leash and under your control when out of the truck."

Thanks yall... When I worked for SNI back in 04-05 there was an owner op that had a goat in the truck with him. He had it on a leash walking it around. Darnedest thing I ever saw lol.

They drive team, and have 2 of the dogs. I dunno how they manage that. Not something I would do, myself. I'm quite enough animal to have in my truck, thank you very much! lol

I'm with ya on that. Sometimes I think I'd like to have a smaller dog ride along with me, then other times I'm real glad I don't have the entire HVAC system of my truck stuffed with pet hair, and if I'm tired and its raining and I just want to be done, I can put myself in that crappy spot way at the back of the truckstop, close the curtain and go to sleep and not have to take Fido for a walk until he finds a spot to do his business.

Just wanted to say hello to you CW and Good Luck! It seams your doing well with your new truck, its running very well, you've did your HOMEWORK on it, and now your reaping some rewards from your labors! Joy! That Cummings engine must have some Torq and HP? Any idea how much? Your running a very good 61 miles per hour on your HOS. Keep up the GREAT work!
    See ya,
    John
