Blcktop-buccaneer where we are in the north east if they are staying in the Pilot/Flying J network then most likely it will be any Irving, Circle K, or Blue Canoe they have a deal worked out with Pilot/Flying J cause I can get shower points when I go to them and it was the usual fuel stops at the last cOmpany. The fuel book always listed the NE locations as Irving/Flying J. I'm not saying this is fact but it is my best guess

Out on the road you will find the big truck stop chains like Loves, Pilot Flying J (Pilot and Flying J used to be seperate but are in the process of merging into Pilot Flying J), TA, and Petro are everywhere. There are also some other chains that you will become familiar with like Wilco Hess, Sapp Bros, Irving, Town Pump, Bosselmans, etc... Some of these are just a lot fewer in number and others are region specific (like Town Pumps are in Montana, Bosselman's along the I80 corridor mostly, etc..).
I just checked our little directory that lists fuel stops by state. There are only 2 in VT, 1 in Springfield (Pilot Flying J at I91 exit 7) and 1 in Wells River (P&H Truck Stop at I91 exit 17). We don't really drive around up there too much (in fact it took my boyfriend over 2 years here before we went to Vermont for the first time) so I guess that's probably why they don't have more stops there. If you have questions about specific states or areas in regards to fueling feel free to pm me.
You do some runs to grocery warehouses and other food places (Wal-Mart, Sam's, etc...) but it is all dry goods. Con-way truckload does van only, no refer or flatbed or tanker or anything like that.
Hope this all helps some. Keep asking any questions you think of as I am sure you are not the only one wondering some of this stuff
Kateyblktop-bucanear, venne and CarRamRod Thank this. -

Very imformative while I have been away on my hiatis I was actually in Joplin and because of the recent happenings there the cell coverage is very weak or not at all at times, it has been ravaged, continue to keep those folks who were hit in your prayers, they need all they can get, I took pictures but am not exactly sure how to get them here. If I can answer anything or there is anyone who wants to mention my name when you call I can send you my info. Thanks.
