i just got a new 2 year dot medical card today actually, knock on wood everythings where it's suppost to be,one of my co workers only got a 1 year card because his blood pressure was a little high but not to high
kool, i havent gotten my stufff yet, i guess i get mine tomorrow most likley, sitting here waiting for a friend, so i can eat something besides the cafe's food for once
Congrats on the physical. Regarding the pre-trip instruction; do they have a refresher course before you take the skills portion to complete the CDL licensing process? I know you will do it everyday while on the road... I just know that I will mess up on pre-trip at the DMV office.
There are many medical indicators. BMI, neck size, height/weight ratio, snoring...the docs know. Men can be such bozos, can't we? We think it's unmanly to use medically-necessary and prescribed equipment that can save our lives and that we might HAVE to wear at night if we want to drive a truck. Silly bozos.
im not 100% sure but i think i heard prime has inspectors for the test right at the campus so atleast you'll be in a familar place and you can probably get in some last minute pre trip studying before the actual test, thats what i would think but confirm with a driver thats been through it recently.
The CPAP and mask do kinda kill a Shangra-La moment in the middle of the night. But I figure that I still have 23 hours and 59 minutes left on the clock.
well he went home instead of wanting to deal with the cpap. oh well i get a couple of nights of good sleep i guess the classes for the pre trip are a refresher course, then you go on the road for 3-5 weeks then take the cdl exams, so you have time
You don't do ANY testing at the dmv. Prime employs their own CDL testers. The dot audits the tests to ensure Prime is testing right. I know all the examiners. Their cool, just listen n do exactly what they tell ya. There is no refresher class after returning from your 100 hours, atleast when I went through. After that much time there is no good reason not to know it. It's not that hard
Wow. You STOP BREATHING 125 times in a night, and you refuse treatment. Just wow. Men. Sometimes I think you all cut off your noses to spite your face.
