1200 for 260 miles is very good. You should be clearing 1k a day. Find a reliable truck. Maybe a cash truck. That has a good solid drivetrain. Think like Columbia or Classic or Fld. Even like 9400i international
For a 2019 to be having those issues it must have been abused by the company before. How many miles on that Peterbilt?
He is on a dedicated route so nothing to do with what spot market is doing now. Not making bad money, he is just having bad luck with the truck he owns. If he had a decent truck it would be easy money and decent profit depending on cost of insurance.
what problem did you have that warranted the replacement of the entire wiring harness on a 2019??what is the cost of that like 10k?? we really gotta do our own maintenance on these new trucks to stay ahead of the game, because the shops just throw parts at it, because its cheaper and less time consuming for them... but you are the one that gets stuck with bill and the same problems 3 months down the line
the best tool you can have in your toolbox with these newer trucks is a voltmeter and electrical troubleshooting skills....
$24,000 gross revenue on 5,200 miles per month. Some people are better off being drivers then business owners.
