it is....they just moved down the road! Angelic(sp?) is a very sweet person and very good! I've never gotten a small run out of her. And I'm not from that terminal! Good luck! Plus, it's a new terminal(old one was up the road on 43 and an old gas station, literally! haha).

Thanks man! Hopefully I can get on this time! I had problems getting on at the Decatur al terminal but hopefully they’ll accept me with schooling and 4 months experience. I really need this job, please God I need this job ( Will Ferrel voice) I’ve been going a lot of sitting lately at snbc

I applied to Superior but was turned down basically for being a Yard Jockey instead of a road driver for the last year. They wanted me to 'Re-Certify', but when I talked to a local school, they just wanted to upsell me on a full course to pay thousands.

I wound up hiring on with Paper Transport Inc. running the Southeast with dry vans. I wonder if I could try again after 6 months.

Just about 2 weeks. I'm just about to get my first home time after 12 days running Southeast Regional.

really? I went to our training school, down in Greer, SC with a guy that was a yard dog at some company before he came here. Although he was going to be local, another guy I went to Greer with, out of my terminal, ran into that guy up at out Markham(Chicago) terminal and said local didn't pay much(for greer) and went OTR. Don't know if he's still here?

Best I can tell you is call the recruiter and see what’s the best route you can go. Maybe they can squeeze you in without having to have a year experience. If not, it should be worth that year

Better yet call the terminal manager where you want to work.
