No problem. Congrats on getting with them. I am not sure if they hire out of my area. I am in San Antonio Texas which is in South Texas. I know they have a drop yard in Ft Worth but that is about 500 miles away so I will see.

Yeah I've seen alot of Celadon trucks sitting too, along with schneider and swift (I live about a 1/8 mile from a truck stop) which is why i stayed away from them.. Not saying it won't happen with Millis, but from what i've heard about the other companies hiring students, Millis and Roehl and 2 of the better companies. I've spoke with both on the phone and Millis seems like a better fit for me.

Good Luck DiGangi, I don't know what their hiring area is exactly since I'm from Ohio, but I know they said they get alot of applications, so I would give them a call and see if they can help ya out.

I think you made a good choice, considering your options. A friend of mine starts with Roehl next month. We'll see how it goes.

I'm sure hoping so.. speaking with them on the phone, they seem like a real upstanding company. I know recruiters are supposed to do that, but that, combined with everything i've read on here, I feel that I'm making a good choice for me and my family.

Are you serious? Ft Worth is next to Dallas. Dallas is about 500 miles from San Antonio!

You got it DiGangi. Mapquest says 265.61
I think I understand the confusion now. Somebody is confusing El Paso with San Antonio maybe?

Because I still talk to friends of mine who work for Millis. So I guess I should call them up and tell them they're all lying?
