Anyone ever get caught doing a u-turn on a public street?

Is there a reason you can't do a legal U Turn?

 

Why not ask Swift?

 

I would think all mega carriers would have an instant termination policy for U-turns. Best to call the police to help you make the U-turn if you have no other option.

I know a guy that used to work in safety for Knight... They had. ZERO tolerance policy for U-turns... Legal or otherwise, immediate termination. As Knight now owns Swift I would imagine they have instituted it there as well.

 

Pfft! Stop in the middle of the road, then slam it in reverse, back up a bit, that cancels out a U turn, now it’s a “Look at this, Can you believe this guy!!” Moment.

Just go up and find a turn around or make a block, You won’t get that many out of route miles.
Or take the next exit and double back.

 

There is a member on this sight called U turn girl ... wonder what she thinks about this issue.

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it does it make noise ?
