You can get an inverter that has alligator clips. Connect it under the dash where the fuses are. Make sure to unplug it and hide it before putting a truck into a shop.

Looks like we gotta bad ### on our hands here. "Here's some advice from a trainer." That is some funny stuff. Wow. A trainer with a whopping two years experience that just went through but not into NYC for the first time.

Not gonna say how but you can disable the timer on the inverter they supply. Do some research and you will figure it out.

I never found the time limit on the inverter to be a problem, running a microwave and such. Every time you have it shut off for eight hours, it resets the two-hour limit clock back to the full two hours. You don't have to use up the two hours before doing the eight-hour reset. So I just made sure it was shut off before I went to bed each night.

In all fairness, the title of this thread is "Anyone have questions for a Roehl trainer" so I didn't think Scott72 was copping an attitude when he mentioned that he's a trainer.

On some other thread, maybe a different story.

I guess that does sound a little prickish. Maybe I am wrong but I get a smarmy, know it all type of tone from his posts. He is probably a cool dude but he reminds me a guy who I went through "train the trainer" with. This guy always had on his Roehl hat and Roehl shirt and probably his Roehl undies. He would fill up his big red Roehl jug full of Roehl kool-aid everyday. He strutted all around the yard and told everyone his war stories and that he was a trainer. His shooting star was bright for a while and then he got burnt out and gave up training after a year or so.

If you don't know somebody, maybe you shouldn't jump to conclusions.

Easy enough to get an idea of a type with over 1200 posts.
