They start off at 33 van 35 reefer and 36 flat. It's not a secret, they use to show all the pay scales online. Not anymore though.
Thanks man, but I know what you start at... And I work for Roehl ATM, but I put my 2 week notice in just yesterday. I've been with them since December, and my issue is NOT getting a single raise and after talking to a few guys it's not surprising. I was told that after 90 days I'd get one raise and a safety bonus I haven't received either, so when my fm asked me what he could do to get me to stay I told him .38 CPM lol needles to say I'm still switching company's. Roehl has been a great company they ran me good, my FM was awesome he would get me home days that I wanted and let me stay home a day or 2 extra if needed, the fact is I'm not making any money and staying out for 3-4 weeks at a time isn't worth my bring home. And it's sure not what I was told(not surprised since all recruiters spread the truth) and Scott, I was just curious to find out how much I SHOULD be getting paid, even my FM couldn't figure out why I was still at 33. Oh well, Roehl has been a good jump start for me but if I can do considerably better elsewhere than I have to do so to pay bills and support my family
I have been wondering...how much "stuff" should a person bring along in the trainers truck? Like clothes, a couple days worth (and do laundry) or the whole 13 days (if needed). Is a laptop ok for during downtime or isn't there really any while with a trainer? Thanks in advance.
Sorry it didn't work out for you man. When I was a company driver I received raises every 90 days, but of course you have to meet your scorecard goals and not have any preventable or equipment damage.
Bring enough clothes to last a week to 10 days or so, sleeping bag, laptop is cool, and I always allow some food in my cooler if you want to bring some sandwich meat or something. Clear this with your trainer however. Bring some dry food also because you may not be able to hit up truckstops for meals every time.
I've had no issues like I said, I've never even been late on one load no safety issues but I'm still at .33 i don't understand why I haven't gotten any, hell my FM doesn't even know! Lol
I realize you are looking to leave at this point, but give payroll a call and see what they have to say. Get some answers.
