The secret to backing is, the set up.

I don't know how long it takes to get your flying saucer out of your bag and position it up in the air and do all those gadget things to then transmit it over to your phone but, if you take more than a few seconds to prepare to park, you will get honked and yelled out of your parking spot. Nobody is going to sit there and wait for you to do all that. You might be done for the day but those guys aren't.

Did you say you've been driving for 20 years? You've got guys with months who basically understand it's all about the setup.

The problem with the drone I use is that after getting the other stuff to move there is usually a hole in the ground that I now have to avoid. I just can't win.

Relying on cameras is just not for me. I would hate to see they day they allow cameras replace mirrors. They do not seem to realize that it will effect the night vision of drivers having a lit up screen in the cab. Drove a truck one time that had a elog system in it. Had to put my hat over the dang thing once it got dark. It was way too bright.

So, instead of watching where you are going, you are watching a 5" phone screen.
Why try to reinvent the wheel. G.O.A.L. Simple and cost free.

Did I say there was any replacement for a good training or actual skill, no I said I saw a video and thought it was cool to watch and curious if any one actually used a drone as a tool, I expected trainers and oversize speciality guys. And we discussed trainers, come on guys, because I ask if someone uses a technology that means I can back or drive?

And really at some point you all that are shocked, have been asked to put a trailer where no trailer should go, and you got out 15 times, and my eyes you need a spotter but there's not one, you need an eye on the rock, trailer, hole, cliff, or cow that's in the way of the 103" hole your putting your 102" trailer in and some fool put a fence and a mud pit 40' in front of where your 53' trailer is going. You get my point, you can't tell me after the 40th pull up and 30th trip to the back of the trailer the leg cramps felt good and you thought, if only I knew how to set up a trailer!!

No, you thought you would like to find they guy that thought that fence was a good idea and give him better idea.

Again, was asking if anyone used it for any reason as a tool, not as a replacement for good practices or safe driving.
