It’s not the first time it’s happened at the General either. Remember the Pontiac GTO? Exact same thing happened-dealers were marking up the cars and wouldn’t let potential customers test drive them!
Actually it looked more like a Chevy Cavalier, which is one of the reasons why it flopped, but it did have enough grunt in the V8 to move the car with authority. I’ve actually driven the Mazda 626/MX-6(and it’s brother from another mother, the Ford Probe) and with the V6,those cars were peppy!
Oh My! I am in shock at such a pollution device still on the road. Hope for your sake no one sends this to that weird politician with the big teeth, she may have to change her 12 years till doomsday to 11 years if she sees that!
The early 2000’s is when I stopped paying attention to new cars no matter bow much power they had. They all started looking alike, foreign and bland for the most part. Gm wouldn’t let PMD do what they originally wanted with the Gto. They wanted a retro to look like the ‘69 model year. The way the Gen 5 Camaro did. Dang shame they didn’t allow a Trans Am to go along with it too.
I got standards! For those that don't though, Walmart has a special. It gets weird under "Other items people bought with this" and you see the Reamer Kit... This thread took a turn.. Sirscrapntruckalot -
Unfortunately it’s GM’s m.o. They get the formula for certain cars right and then they kill them! The funny thing is that we should be use to this by now-they’ve been doing it since before the Malaise Era!
