You will average about 2500 miles a week which comes to about 1000 after expensies. I do know a few drivers that run harder but it does not make since to me to kill myself for a couple hundos lol.
Anyone who wants to drive for JCT plz read thanks

Hi Crxdc,
Thank you for that information. I am not sure how i feel about all of this again since hubby did it last year with a very large co no names to say on here but they just did not run him they said they did not have miles and just afraid to get back into the red again. Are there times a month and how many times out of the month is a Zero pay check? He seemed to have 2 a month so each time he got a no pay check meant in the red esp when bills got to get paid. Its hard to tell your landlord oh hey cant make rent got no check. Just i guess a little uneasy on this. Is there a high turnover and how long do most drivers stick around and our there drivers there for 5 or more years. Thanks -

I have never had a negative settlement. With the variable payment as long as you run at least 400 miles you will have a positive settlement. I took 5 days of home time and still had a 200 settlement in my favor

Thanks for the information. Looks like he starts his orientation end of this month any good apps for him to know to download on phone any mentors that can help with any questions he might have. Are the DM's good i guess so from what i am heading youre doing about 2800 or more a week. Is the co very supportive and how is maintenance. -
Maintenance is your responsibility as its your truck. As for mentors if you look in the other jct thread you will see we all help each other out here plus the staff are helpful as well. They will ask how you like to run and they keep u that way. I have an app called fuellog to track my fuel as well as a spreadsheet. This is very needed as your fuel can make or break a loads profit. Also use trucker path and DAT truck app to find places to stop. I would suggest a laptop to keep up with things. This is a lot of work but has a lot of rewards when done right.
