Why not just beg for change in front of a 7/11? Probably pays better; plus you have the added benefit of having a little self respect for what you do to earn a buck. (The above doesn't apply to CargoWahgo; he's only in this for the laughs).

I would have disagreed with you and said the planners are that don't plan while getting paid and then send them all out before they leave. Say screw it and let dayshift FM's figure it out. But then I realized it was Sunday And I was in middle of nowhere new mexico. Unboarded myself after 4 hours of being #1. So they get a pass... But still deserve no paycheque....I tell them that all the time.... Donate your paycheque to charity today cause you don't deserve it!!!! My favorite past times of rattling dispatchers via phone. ....what they gonna make you do? Wait? I was already doing that.... + I'm calling your supervisor to criticize them. XD
the miles were good.. sometimes some fleet managers are great, But there are a couple of real pr*cks that does their best to work against others.. Its not their fault you get bad directions .. you should have a smart phone! (this is what I was told) Even though you dont know (or cant find it).. google it on your smart phone. sent to a delivery appointment at 5am... the freaking place didnt open till 7am, with a 2 stop load and the other appt was for 6am.. this went on me because I was late.... Paycheck shortage (3 times). you have (less then) 24 hour to call in you detention pay Be prepared to pick up loads a few days early and the receivers have you wait 4-7 days. *** yes... but lucky enough I told them I was going to drop the ##### trailer if it didnt get unloaded I WAS NOT going to wait 8 days to be unloaded*** my last load was the one the broke the camels back... Left out of Denver head to Pa.. stopped in Salina for the night woke up to the qual going for to relay the load in KC Mo.. this was Friday morning.. Made KC for the relay... after about a hour wait and no word on my next trailer.. I call .. I was told it wasnt ready that it was being loaded in Ne. that I should have it by 6pm. then I got sent the info for the load. 200 miles in 3 days ... I was p*ssed!! It delivered Monday morning at 9am... Im sorry but with a wife and 3 kids at home I cant make $60 in 3 days.. I can flip burger for that. beware of their sign on bonus... I never got mine.. The fuel bonus is the best.... I can ##### better stuff then what they offer and what you have to earn to get it...
