how am i a super trucker? the sign on the on ramp says yield not the other way around if they dont have the sense to read and obey the sign then they deserve to be in the ditch my g/f is guilty of this and i tell her all the time ur lucky im not the one driving the truck u just pushed in to the other lane she says why i say ud be getting to know that guard rail pretty well right about now

as for trucks driving in the middle lane it is illeagal in most places to pass on the right as it is illegal in most places to be in the far left lane so what am i suppose to do if there is a 62 mph mega carrier in the middle lane on a 70mph stretch of road? not my fault he's got a slow truck why should i suffer or all the other drivers

Let me "clarify" that for you....

Comes across as an angry, "get the hell out of my way, you are trash." driver.

Your attitude make you a roadrage driver and more dangerous than a center-lane homesteader.

driver yes i am vocal and get angry but i always maintain a safe following distance and never weave from lane to lane but if u are driving in the middle lane doing 62mph for no reason other then to joy ride then yes i will stand by my comment and say get out of my way in my short career i have never so much have had a fender bender i know 2.5-3 years is minniscule by comparison to most but i take great pride in that

I drive 62-67 in the middle lane. I also tend to pace off other traffic too.

I do it so I don't have to deal with idiots getting on and off the freeway.

For through traffic, safest place is as far left and away from local traffic as possible. Original interstate system was and still is designed with that in mind. Good luck with local road officials comprehending that concept though.

Yeah, my background includes working in a DOT road design shop too.

i understand this but with the laws the way they are in most states a truck can not run in the far left lane and again it is illegal and far more dangerous to pass you on ur right side am i right or am i wrong?

if u want to cruise in the middle doing 62-67 thats fine but if u got truck traffic doing the speed limit coming up behind you and having to hit they're brakes losing they're momentum and POSSIBLY cause a rear end accident because you want to get ur mpg bonus that week or whatever how is that safe and/or smart?

let me guess me,me,me right? aint that how this industry and country got messed up to begin with? that mentality right there

You really have a speed issue.

I also said I pace myself off the other traffic.

Meaning I'm not driving faster or slower than them.

If you're in a 3-lane road, you're in a high traffic area. So what are you doing driving at a pace that you are overtaking a bunch of traffic?
