It seems like merging is a lost art judging by the way I see some 4-wheelers merge. It's like they cannot, will not, increase their speed to get onto the interstate. They'll ride parallel to me until their cruising on the shoulder. Keep in mind, this isn't during rush hour. I'm talking about light traffic.

Oh, this is to the idiot 4 wheel driver that pulls 10 feet beyond the white line at the stop sign, or traffic signal. That little white line is there for a reason. If I'm making a right hand turn, I need space to get this big ### truck into the lane to your left. Give me my space, or your hood is subject to being totaled. Thanks!

how about the 4wheeler yesterday who sped all the way to the end of the on-ramp, could have gotten into the flow of traffic quite easily.......

And then made a panic stop into the shoulder instead of merging with the flow of traffic.

Classic.......Got the entire highway to nail their brakes.........

Glad you agree as well as many others haha!

I caught someone on camera the other week failing at merging.

i know its been done to death but when ur merging on to the highway do not think for one second that i will let you in or move over for you....if i have a good rate of speed or if im trying to pick up speed or even im slowing down i have no issue what so ever to put u in the shoulder or guard rail. im sorry if this sounds cruel but i've been screwed so many times by 4 wheelers that are not paying attention or that feel entitled that i just quit giving a flop....

my g/f is was notorious for just kind of behavior unfortunately. she told me once about here "visit" to the breakdown lane and i just laughed and asked "did you learn anything????"

yes i did sleep on the couch after my comment

What about if they have their blinker on? If someone is trying to merge without a blinker I normally won't let them in, but, if they are using their signals in a timely manner I don't have a problem letting them in. Same goes for letting semi's in. Example-Semi trying to pull out onto the interstate, using blinker, I either slow down or get over for him/her

I have one. When you are in a City / TOWN. Those big white lines you see at a red light, that is where your car should be stopped. That doesn't mean you pull up so the rear tires are at the front edge of it. They are put there for a PURPOSE. That purpose is so I can make the turn in my HUGE Truck that I have to swing wide without RUNNING Over the front end of YOUR car. Also, when on a hill, DON"T pull right up on my tail end. There is a chance when I let off that clutch, if my truck rolls back, your car will look like the pancake I had for breakfast this morning.

Here is one also, although I can't hear you while in my big rig, but when I'm not, and I'm in my personal vehicle, kids, please stop putting those stupid suped up lawnmower sounding mufflers on your 1987 honda civics. It doesn't make your car faster, or cooler. I just makes you look like a numbnut who had nothing better to spend money on besides a overly loud crappy sounding Maxwell house coffee can looking exhaust. If you want a nice sounding exhaust, buy a HEMI, or some sort of V8 and put a set of headers on it with a full performance exhaust, at least then we will hear some good ol American Muscle, and not some Rice burner trying to be fast with the 4 cylinder under the hood............... :biggrin_2552:
