I just got called for an interview in a few hours and suddenly realized I don't know what the appropriate dress is for a truck driving interview. The company provides uniforms for their drivers if that's any help. It's for pneumatic tanks. Are jeans to casual?

to prove you have experience i suggest a wife beater baseball cap and pants that are just a little too small so we can see your crack......and really don;t shower i mean what real truck driver actually waste time with that

Just my little opinion, but I'd want to look slightly BETTER than you would on the job...look like a professional. To me that would mean a decent pair of khakis with a nice polo shirt.

Jeans are perfectly acceptable for any driver position interview. I'd rather wear a button down casual shirt than a polo any day. Never did like polo's though.

    I was gonna say this

1.) skin-tight pair of jeans with the cuffs rolled up.

2.) pair of the sharpest-toed cowboy-boots you can find , with the chrome points on 'em.

3.)fancy belt, with your CB-handle engraved across the rear of it.

4.)a Cadillac hub-cap belt buckle (the bigger the better).

5.)western type shirt , unbuttoned almost to your naval.

6.) a pinch of snuff in next to your cheek and gum.

7.)and last and certainly not least , the cowboy-hat...a must have, to get the full affect make sure you have an "ace of spades" in the hat-band , and a goose feather stuck in there just for luck.......

All of this will if nothing else get their attention..oh and dang I almost forgot this....be just a few minutes late for the interview , just so you can start the conversation with Hell-o "Good Neighbor"....Man...you ain't gonna believe this #$%%%! and at every single opportunity slip this one into the interview..."I heard that" !

This will always be etched into that interviewers memory.....BTW you do know I'm kidding..I hope....the other posters had it right..a nice pair of slacks , clean shaven or neatly trimmed beard/goatee , no hat and a nice polo-type shirt...and above all professional attitude..Good Luck!
