Apu exemption for gross weight?

    How much fuel do you have? 280 pounds is 40 gallons of fuel to burn off to be legal without the APU exemption.

    I agree! I know that Rhode Island, and California are 2 that don't recognize the federal law. But you shouldn't be surprised these 2 states.

    I've heard it's 1 pound burned per mile driven. (7lbs per gallon of diesel...and 7mpg on the freeway=1lb/mile burned off.

    Eh just run it. I run 80500 nearly every load. Only been hastled once in the last 7 years.
