There seems to be a lot less CB usage out west versus the east coast/midwest. If you're running a state like Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Nebraska, the Dakotas, etc., don't expect to hear a whole lot out there.

I still talk on the CB where ever i go, Im what you people call the "CB Rambo" ... lol funny how easily it is to get you Geezers out there Fired up.... Pure free entertainment! But on nights where no one responds to me, I turn it off... but thats not often... you oldies are way to sensitive about things said over the radio =)

Mine is always on, except around West Memphis. Thank God there's no more of that place for me. I will talk on it right along with another semi-intelligent driver, so I guess I really don't talk very much.

Wargames Thanks this. -
Oklahoma City is another one where I'm prone to cut the radio off, if it's during a time of day when I can expect Stryker and the local home basers to be up and active. -

i like telling people that my 10 year old daughter is in the truck--and to please tone down the cursing and such-----now that is a way to start a big ### fight--its funny-----considering i dont have a 10 yr old daughter

I think a big part of it is that the industry is flooded with newbies! Most newbies don't talk on the radio! If you pass 100 trucks 80 of them are probably still under their one year mark! Also has to do with where you are. For instance Florida. The CB usually goes silent while you are down here for some reason. I don't know maybe to hot to talk or something!
