Low pay delivering RVs. Too many retired truck drivers willing to work cheap.

@buzzarddriver has a good idea. Check LabCorp. They, and other companies, pick up medical test specimens and deliver to labs. I think the pay is maybe in the $40k range.

Agreed but I’d think it’s better than running hotshot but I’ve never done either so what do I know?

Uber? Talk to co-part about moving around crappy auction cars. You could try to be an oversize escort driver.

Could spice it up a bit and offer mobile washout services, depending on region. Or parts delivery for farmers, auto shops, small trucking companies. UberEats and DoorDash drivers are making 300/day in some areas. Or steal catalytic converters

My dad looked into moving RVs to leave trucking. I looked into it just enough to hear most people were saying the pay is low. Another job is pick-up/delivering railroad crews. PTI is the big name in my area. They specifically advertise for retired drivers. Their pay is pretty low but it's driving a minivan or SUV.

I know a few people using sprinter vans or minivans for hauling expedited cargo

don’t know what load boards or dispatches they use but they seem to be doing alright

Or rental equipment for U-Haul. I remember seeing their ad a while back.
