Are truckers no longer in unions?

    Some do not understand the benefits and pay advantages of working in a union shop. Also most of the shops are selective and in times like this very hard to get into,

    Im a PROUD Union Member. It's nice having support on issues such as pay and working conditions aswell as benefits. Ive been a member every since I started at UPS. Would advise anyone with the chance to do so,join the Union.:druid:

    I've worked on union construction jobs, and from what I've seen, the union simply collects dues and ensures that the otherwise unemployable remain employed. It also seems that unions value seniority above knowledge, skill, ability and work ethic. Both are negatives in my book.

    Look for a squared "s" on the side of the truck.
    I'll see one every once in a while when I'm running up 41 or 43 in Wisconsin.
