I know it, just like you're hating on the guys USA thread because he's doing something you couldn't do at Schneider for 8 years while they babysat you. Seems your jealous of him to.

At least their trucks are more reliable...
I think I would take a new truck over the old one now...
    Maintenance costs and time lost...

If it's a used truck you never know how much you would need to pay for repairs...
With low rates getting bills for 10K can quickly wipe you out...
Hard to get good mechanics. Your truck might be in shop for weeks too. Then you find out the job they did wasn't good enough...

Like I was saying, I didn't want to generalize.

You have a guy with a payment. He could bid desperate, or not.

You have a guy without a payment. He could haul cheap, or not.

Naturally I'm biased, as I have a paid off truck. So I default to thinking people will try to haul just like me. Now I know that's not going to always be the case, but it's my first thought.

Not true. Markley seems to be doing fine / above average and I applaud him and wish him the best . The other douche hasn't pulled a load as far as I can tell.
How about you @JonJon78 ? How you been?

And, you bet. Schneider babysat me for 8 years and I have nothing to show for it. So, there's your argument put to bed. Now, tell us about your sucess.

I didn't say anything about you not having anything to show. I've posted on this site before my success within the trucking industry that I've had so don't need to post anything to try and impress you. Your a jealous hater. I'm adding you to my ignore list. Goodbye.

Eh, ive deadheaded oregon to indiana and ive taken 1$ loads, and ive fought for more on many loads, it is highly variable, circumstances, where i NEED to be, or having made 8$ a mile out, im not complaining with a cake cheap partial load back,
