If you get to a shipper and the shipper is slow, that meant that the original plan was to get loaded and put some miles in. That doesn't change just because the shipper is slow. If the plan was to hammer down the road after loading. I still am going to hammer down the road. It's just now, I will have to be ready to run with the vampires. Not a problem.
Get to a shipper at 0700. Shipper is slow and you dont roll out until 1400. Split log it or wait another 3 hours for a full 11, depending on how many miles needed to the receiver. 500 miles, Split log it. 700, get a full 11 and run through the night.
"But Six, what about sleep patterns and ADHD and PSTS and all the other things?
I will worry about them when I get empty. Run 11, get empty, take 10 and worry about my sleep patterns while staring at my eyelids.Chinatown, Ruthless and El Paso Bob Thank this. -
Waited 4 hours at a tank wash earlier. Drove 45 mins. Been sitting for 4 hours waiting for the rain to stop so they can load now. I'm running out of stuff to watch on netflix.

We were settled on a hilltop interchange right on the shoulder of 75 on a rather wide bridge shoulder and parts of the rounded top that had room for 5 or 6 of us and three interchange with two seperate route options in case Detriot got hit on 9-11.
There was a special kind of waiting that makes me sick, a form of battle nausea when that last plane was reported on way to DC, being chased by a pair of Unarmed F16's (Over detriot no less) and that 20 minutes was a very long time. What a day. We loaded medicines for Connecticut just across the line from NYC, crossed the GWB that night right around 9-30 pm watching the burning piles downriver at 5 mph.
I said a prayer the previous night prior to sleeping. I asked the Lord to put on the armor of light, to use his word in battle with the arms to war and fingers to fight properly whatever comes up in the morning. I had massive physical problems the prior night as a sort of a seer.
ANYway... moving on,....El Paso Bob Thanks this. -
I'm not driving yet but i would watch dvd's, read stuff online or take a walk in the area if i could leave the truck there. Find a restaurant and have a relaxing meal. Or go to a massage parlor to get.........umm...... my back adjusted...yeah my back adjusted we will go with that.
