Um, because they appreciate their drivers health, cleanliness and appearance and don't expect them to sit in a truck for more than a day where there isn't a shower available.

    LOL

Showers are available in most truck stops for free when you buy fuel.

I feel like I've been living in some parallel universe the last 50 years, and last night I must have somehow went through a worm hole and ended up in another world where things are completely foreign to me based on this thread because not much is making sense to me here, anymore. I'm going to go back to bed and see if I can get back to my original life.

No #### sherlock and there's also places in this great wide continent where truck stops aren't exactly located right around the corner either

Hotels aren't commonplace in those areas either.

Also watch your tone with me buddy. That attitude will get you nowhere.

Really? I guess you've never been to places like St. Johns, Cornerbrook, Gander Newfoundland or the province of PEI or Victoria BC or...screw it... you probably couldn't figure out how to find them on a map anyways so why bother...

Since when does a join date dictate whether or not someone's a n00b? I may be new to the forum, but I'm not new to trucking. Even if I was new to trucking, I still wouldn't tolerate your attitude.

Oh, and since you don't look at details; I guess I should inform you that the OP likely won't be driving in Canadaland, so you can stop assuming that it's the same in the US as it is in Canada.

    lexmark Thanks this.

you guys got it out of your system yet? What the op should take away is that starting out the chances of finding a company who will pay for motels is slim to none most likely. Unless you're broke down or in orientation.
