Long as you have the original Turner/RK 56 (I have 2) from way back before “Barjunk” bought them out, then I say you have a good one.
Back in the good ole days.... drivers would take the mic back in the sleeper and mouth off and hide behind the curtain.
Just coil it partway and secure it temporarily with duct tape. Get Gear Hanger (brand) device to keep it out of the way. (Figure where to place cord coil and size it). Once it’s “right” use about four zip ties to keep coil secure and out of the way.
I wondered what happened to Roadking. Everyone swore by them they had a weight inside otherwise same as a static So I’ve been told.
