    I don't remember anyone busting on manuals.... Busting on autos yes, but not the other way around ... {shrug}

    Yeah, I rather doubt it too but I will dare to leave the door open to that possibility... ;-)

    Probably in a similar way to charging the tesla cars.... It might not be practical for pure OTR but I bet there will be more applications than one might think.

    Get the charging completed in under ten hours so one could take their break while the batteries are charging... Who knows.

    But I for one am excited about where so much of this tech is going... Especially with Tesla!

    There is no "opinion" on this. There is no way an auto will consistently outshift the best shifters. Two million miles later the manual will be better than new and history tells us that the auto will have shutdown several times in that time.

    And furthermore anyone with a CDL for a year should know better than to disrespect a veteran driver's skill. I don't count myself as a veteran driver but for crying out loud show some respect. You guys don't know crap what do you expect.... nobody would call you out? Or maybe you thought you could pass yourselves off as having more experience than you do. Either way, busted.

    And btw, it's not name calling if it's true.

    FWIW, this has about run its course for me. Not sure how I got sucked into another auto thread.... they're usually the new driver forum so I don't see them. Must be because you guys ventured out of the know it all forum that I saw this one.

    You dare speak the word "respect" after all the name calling and belittling and bullying you spew here.... LOL

    That's just rich... And how has anyone disrespected any veteran drivers?

    I have the utmost respect for others that have earned such respect... Those who belittle, demean, name call, and bully, ya, not so much.

    Seriously, sir, get some help.

    It's not about his "truck" but his "attitude".
    But I am sure that it's a very fine truck.
