I've heard it's pretty decent on ssb but since it doesn't have a vfo, and another manufacturer makes a comparable radio with a real VFO for $100 less, I would have no reason to purchase the Stryker radio.

I guess I was wrong about the output power on the anytone.
It says Peak power of 60 watts but I'd still choose it over the Stryker radio
