When did he retire? Seems like when his favorite TMC punching bag got banned never see much of him around here anymore.

 

It will last 30 hours running the A/C?

i don't believe any Electric APU that is nothing more than a separate bank of batteries with a large inverter to run the Air Conditioning will run much more than 8 hours unless it had a very large battery bank.

That technology was started for small boats so that you did not need a separate generator for air conditioning. A manufacture by the name of Mermaid from Fort Myers Florida builds units for boats i am sure they can do the same for trucks.

if you want more power just add more batteries.

Oscar, so you aren't the only one who noticed that news outlets from all over had used that picture of his unit. I spotted that the first day the article came out. they should be sued for using the picture, apparently from an internet search.

 

the unit will pay for itself in a year. you can buy an apu or spent the same money idling, and that's not even includeding the convience, 110 volt outlet to use for truck work, etc. . the tripac only do 110 off an inverter. my dynasys has a 6000 watt generator, wired to block heater with 110 volt outlets also, a alternator to keep batteries charged, and doesn't run continuously, set the thermostat and enjoy life. 8500 installed at boomers in okie city, that's with the shorpower option also.

 

he got banned, he now has banned or retired in his heading. it was in a thread in the flatbed section about hevy haul or something. he had an edge to him. I kind of like that.

 

So the dynasys does it all a/c heat/ power, battery charger and block heater? how much are they if you don't mind?
