I’m willing to bet it involves getting a federal Marshall out to wherever you’re parked. Hahaha

ask them if they will allow you to start your day legally the way they want you to, with a pre trip and then having any issues repaired, if they refuse to let you then let them do their inspection, if they find an issue and place you oos or give you a ticket after being told your not allowed to start your day legally the way the law states then tell them you will see them in court

If I'm legally parked, asleep with my curtains drawn, I'm just not going to answer anybody who is knocking on my door unless they just hit my truck or are yelling fire. And if I do get up to see who it is, you can bet that my camera will be recording every word. Inspectors have absolutely no authority to forcefully remove me from my truck or place me OOS if I refuse to acknowledge their presence. I can claim I was sleeping with ear plugs and didn't hear them, or I can just claim that I wasn't required to answer them. And yes I would absolutely test that theory in court with my attorney.

Fire inspectors can drop by a place of business at any time for an inspection, but they don't attempt to do it after hours when the business owner is in bed asleep.

I don't think they will knock only, I do believe it will be accompanied with a ?? state police at a elevated firm commanding voice. Then I wonder if it is followed by some sort of threat of being towed or forced entry do to safety. There have been trucks found with dead drivers in them.
