Sorry guys/gals...I've been so busy with running and haven't post on here since 1st day of orientation but EVERYTHING that you guys have said about BGE on here has been 100% correct. Im glad I joined the family because they have EXCEEDED my expectations. My truck number is 1553 and its a 2012 Volvo 670 with about 220,000 miles on it. I wanted a KW 660 at first but when I got what I wanted, I didn't want it anymore (long story) so I switched with a driver that DID want a KW and so I took his truck. Im on hometime now so that I could get the rest of my things to take with me and I will be heading back out Sunday afternoon. I will definitely be posting more about the company in a little bit but Im about to eat my breakfast. You guys/gals be safe out there....Country4life aka Jeff

Hey, Jeff, how about the short version when you can? I've never been in a Volvo and would love to hear the why, as long as it's truck-related and not private.

DD, I drove a big Volvo back in 2011 when I was working for Navistar and we were doing the DEF testing. What a great truck! And their cruise control system was first rate. It did everything including turning on the jake going down hill to keep the speed you had set it at. The only thing I didnt really like was the headlights. They didnt seem to be bright enough for me. If I was to get another one I would look into replacement bulbs if they were available.

    DenaliDad and Leftnut Thank this.

Volvo headlights are aimed too low straight from the factory. You just need to adjust them.

    Bumper Thanks this.

I drove a Columbia for 7 months that had lights so bad I had to drive with the "high" beams on all the time...and not once did I get a 'flash' from any oncoming driver. In bad weather, or on a dark road at night, they were dangerous, even in a 60-mph truck. The company's response? "They both work, right? That's all that's important."
