c.r. england pushing their leasing program over board

I have just recently come back from c.r. england and well im pretty disgusted with them. i went there under false claims of being paid for all training and orientation. not true i found out orientation is not paid and they get around that by not actually hiring you till after orientation. then as far as trining goes i had to do 10 days with a trainer even though the last time i drove a truck was the friday before i got there. but because it was local i had to do that ok fine i can do that they pay you 61.50 a day to drive or work for 11 hours each day for most and well it equalls about 5.50 an hour or around 7 cents a mile. i got my first check which grossed 386 dollars my take home was only about 216 after taxes and other fees. i was also missing 2 days of pay on that so i called the training coordnator and he said he got it fixed. my second week out i was broke and kinda sucked but i stuck it out. i got back from that and didnt have my second check yet but i found i had to an upgrade class which i didnt get paid for as well. monday came around and i got a copy of my settlement as they call it it was for 245 gross and 16 after taxes and fees. and i was missing the 2 days from the first week still and 4 on that week. and while there even there tests they give you do nothing put push lease down your throat. and me haveing driven before was scared of the lease they push on people. i ended up quiting because i had nothing to pay my bills with and called up another company to work for and am now going to be driving for them but as a result of the 3 weeks i was there i had to borrow money from my mother to pay my rent so my kids have a roof over their heads. its sad that they do this and even push this lease stuff on people who until they got there had never been on a truck. and on a statistic basis only 2 out of 100 people who go thru their to work actually stay for more than 1 month the only people making any money are the englands and well the ones who drive illegally to get the miles and most of them are trainers. good luck to those trying to get on with them and well hope you think twice.

Sorry to hear you got suckered by CR England. I started driving in Feb. 1994 and they were well-known as a crap company then and even more so now. I have had COUNTLESS e-mails reporting to me that they should have listened to me and they were sorry. We have had this site up for almost 6 years now and it NEVER ends. I guess it never will at this point.

I would take this as a learning lesson and never do it again. All I can say, really. I mean I have harped and harped about those people and people STILL go to them and get the screwing of their life. It is an ENDLESS circle because people don't listen to our warnings OR don't see them and go there anyway. So, CR England will KEEP making money AND screwing people's lives up with no shame...

 

So when will you guys who've been burned by C. Our. England Advertisement get together and put up a billboard out on Route 201, say, near the Freightliner dealership?

 

LOL, oh man CR England would love that, LMAO. Every day they would drive in to work (where they screw their drivers) they would see that billboard. That would be hilarious.

 

even Werner pays better than 7cpm, but sadly it still is better than the CRE Fleace.

if i had the extra money to put up a billboard message i would but until than i hope people are smart enough to do there homework and look at a company thouroghly before going to work for them i wish i had cause if had seen half of the stuff about them i would not have gone at least then i wouldnt have gotten screwed but i am with a pretty good company now and im extremely happy with them even after my first week back with them so i hope this can be a helpful tool in decieding to go with a company or not to

 

Is it true that CR England has metal detectors and bullet proof glass at their terminal ? I have heard and read this many times but you know how that is.
