You're not forced to sign the contract so why should they be forced to disclose to an "outside" legal opinion?

It is easy to surmise by the concealment of their document, it is written heavy in their favor....legally. Their attorneys have written a document though stacked in their favor, will stand up in a court of law.

Having your attorney review would only discredit their position over you...or albeit the revenue generated by the truck. Thank God we live in America and it's not illegal structuring contracts in benefiting you....though it should be illegal for the dumbmasses to sign and post the obvious, which they overlooked from the start, on the Internet. :biggrin_25520:

Again Nobody is forced to sign & this company is not anybodies last option. Fools are born everyday.

OP has 24 years in the biz? Should know better!

If they can't figure out how to email it they are either dolts or don't want to send it. Tell them to send the lease via FedEx and tell them you will sign it in front of a notary.

Save your pennies and buy a truck. Find a reputable company to lease to.

You will find another tactic used in orientation is they will pressure to sign quickly without having adequate time to review the contract.

Bad news all around. Go company, save up money and buy your own truck. Or if you want to lease, lease from an outside source.

1026, when someone already commits to a company and takes that long bus ride, you just don't get up and walk out. Many get trapped in a circle of circumstances. These people are pro's when it comes to misleading and suckering you in to get what they want. Not everyone has business sense, but visions of bigger money.

England doesn't want anyone who knows anything about business.

Englands point of view is..that if they can get people who don't even have the basic skills to even figure out they're getting screwed, then to England...they're the perfect candidate for their scam.

One thing I hear a lot is "I am leased to XXXX, my help makes more money than me after I pay the bills!"

Yes, and they still do it. 95% of drivers that lease do not have the brains to make a profit. If they had brains they wouldn't have signed in the first place.
