Please note that I am not calling you a liar. I just don't believe your BS. I recall in another forum that you threw a hissy fit when BS was called on your income claims that another individual verified that you were talking out your backside..... Right???

    Wrong.

Since I don't lie, not do I have any reason to lie, I'm not sure what post you may be speaking of. Perhaps you can refresh my memory?

Rather, I think, because you are incapable of making more than a slave wage, you think no one can. I'm not sure why you seem to be focused on me, when there are quite a few posters on this thread making the same claim, some of which are greater than mine.

Like the other poster said, I'm out of here. I can feel my brain cells dying every time I read one of your post. Yet your STILL here :biggrin_2551:

Sure, to respond to lying liars. What's your point?

I am not being doubtful or disrespectful in any way. I am just asking for any explanation, advice or insight you can offer me that might help me do better than I currently am.

No, I didn't take your post that way. With all the other drama, I forgot to respond to you. I have to go workout before it gets dark. In the meantime, can you tell me a little about your operation? Since this is in the Owner Operators section, can I assume you are an O/O? Do you own your own truck? What segment of the industry are your in? What part of the country? Are you local, regional, over the road? Anything else you can add that can help? I'm not claiming to have all the answers. Hopefully, some of the others will feel free to jump in.

You sure danced around Boardhauler's simple request. You could have easily painted a general picture with specifics to come later....

Your experience is lacking. There are plenty of o/o clearing over 4-5k per week. They are not running for $1.05 plus fuel surcharge or any silly mega pay like that. Most aren't pulling vans either. But..... You know everything already.

No offense, but I don't see how what I'm doing now is that important. I'm trying to learn what I should be doing. For the record I am an O/O, leased to a small west coast carrier, almost all curtain vans, averaging 10,000 miles per month @ 1.60 per mile to the truck pulling a co. trailer. Home pretty much every weekend & randomly during the week. The least amount of BS to put up with I've ever seen as an O/O.

I want to know what you mean by "clearing" If your net operating profit ratio is 50%, to "clear" $5,000.00 per week you have to gross $10,000.00. That implies running 2500 miles @ $4.00 per mile or 2000 miles @ $5.00 per mile. Nice work, if you can get it.
