How often do you have to submit to these inspections?

Everytime you pull into a Prime terminal you have to go through an inspection bay. I'll let someone else comment on driver line up as I haven't been to sprimo.

So are the people in the tractors with the bunk shoved up against the seats company drivers and the people in the condos lease drivers?

For the most part yes, you can lease a lightweight but most get the condos, also trainers get condos but I assume most trainers are lease. I've only been here for 4 weeks so far, so I'm sure someone with more time can verify.

What happens if you fail an inspection? Do they just fix it or are you reprimanded in some way?

its not an inspections to see if your doing things right. they just check over the trailer and see if anything needs to be fixed while its still in the yard and can go to the repair shop. They also rotate tires on the trailer if its time. There is no pass or fail, just a way to look things over while its on the yard to save them money with road calls.

If you have never worked for Prime please do not spread your crap. Don't go off from what you heard from a friend of a friend or at the truck stop.

I know. I'm talking about the people saying thing like my friend told me they're governed at 55 and they have a system that slows you down if someone in front of you. Obviously he had no idea what jes talking about. They governed at 62-65 and its called adaptive cruise control, most cars are starting to come with it now days. I think prime is a great company to work for. I've been here 2 years as a lease op and at home I just bought a 2015 Dodge Charger R/t premium and paying it off quite nicely. Oh BTW it has adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance and lane departure. the same things my prime truck has

Is this directed at me? I have no plans to work for prime unless they want to buy my truck. I'm asking these questions because the OP is looking for answers and since she is new to the business, she doesn't know the right questions to ask. If you don't like it, block me.
