Those tickets are going to need to come off. The seatbelt one is a safety issue and the fat speed 19 over.. backed by a slower big speed? You were or going to be almost as bad as me if you don't watch it. Or sell that car and stuff yourself into a little clown car that maxes out at 45 to protect your future in this industry.
I ordered my record from the DMV and they are on there, but I hope you're right about the big companies. I would be excited for the oppurtunity to be a Swift driver at this point (though I don't think they are the worst company out there anymore) I'm trying to stuff myself into a truck and get the hell out of here I drive a little 4cyl Toyota soccer mom car and a lead foot isn't the issue, so unfortunately I wouldn't do any better in a clown car out here. I have worked with my job to set up a localized route for me though so I shouldn't get any more surprises out navigating the backroads of nowhere DMV. The seatbelts were my bad for sure, I should have known better than to take it off before the officer came up to me and I should have had it on before pulling out from the curb. Lessons learned there. I am going to try the megas and Chinatowns other recs in the morning. I just need a company to tide me over for two years so the seatbelt and earlier speeding ticket drop off my record and my most recent ticket will be 3 years old at that point. Fingers crossed that someone halfway decent gives me a chance.
Any trucking job is better than flipping burgers. People say, "well you can eventually be a manager at a fast food joint." No thanks; I've no desire to try and manage a bunch of snowflakes that think their waiste is about mid-thigh which is where their pants hang.
