Probably asked a lot but I haven't seen it much. What kind of numbers could a team do running PO off of Convoy/Amazon and such and possibly renting a trailer when spot market is hot for dry van?

I'd say it would depend on your location.

I see they have multiple divisions? I'm assuming they are all different do you have any suggestion which ones to check out? The company drivers haul all the ground freight right?

We are in Jacksonville... My teammate and I want to run regional and get more home time but aren't opposed going to other areas providing better pay and we can make it home. The way I'm looking at it is running to either Texas/Tennesee, another leg, then back home and trying to repeat or pickup extra loads throughout the remainder of the week. We aren't looking for 6k+ miles the whole reason we will do teams is so we can get our miles in quicker and get home.

Freight and Express are all company drivers, but Freight does use power only in some lanes. Ground only uses independent contractors, so that could be an option if they have any open team slots in your area.

Power only be prepared for long hops bobtail between jobs. Nothing consistent
You can do it but not be home on a regular basis. Unless you find some private companies that just need trl’s moved from facility to facility

You’d have a good chance if you picked up 3-4 different carriers.

Say run FedEx from home to another terminal, jump on Amazon and move a trailer to a different town. Look at both to see if there is anything back and if not hit up a load board and grab a PO load.

If you really focus you should be able to do pretty good.
