It wasn’t a layover. The $300 was for the tonu. Ans if I wanted I could have picked the load up the next morning too. I told them I was going to file on their bond and sue though. Maybe I’ll call them tomorrow amd see if I can still get the tonu.

Usually,if you sit for more than 5 - 6 hrs you get "layover". TONU is truck ordered not used, but, in my experience both are sometimes used interchangably especially in a screwed up situation like yours. If you do get hold of the guys tomorrow, I'd be as humble as a mother ####er, apologize and explain that you were working from bad advice and that if they are still willing to work with you that you'd like to move past this incident.
