Hi Soonerdoggy,
I am in the same boat. I am 50 and tired of working for other people. Worked in a completely different field and looking at transportation. Love to drive and decided to do some research also. Right now trying to compare Hotshot loads or getting a Class A and doing a big rig. I'm in Atlanta and it looks like a good place to be for work. The big question is can I get loads right out of Trucking School if I start my own business. I have the funds to purchase truck and equipment outright.
Can New Owner Operators get loads?
