Can you bypass the sleeper heater core?

    Try Air Source, Four Seasons, Red Dot and Kysor. I have books for them plus Freightliner, KW or Paccar heat and air parts. You can surely find them on line and order what you want.

    yes you can bypass it, but as already mentioned the proper fix is to replace the fitting with the proper npt to hose barb fitting in the proper sizes, clamping onto threads will only ever work short term.

    Easiest way to bypass in a pinch (say heater core leaking while on the road) would be to just loop the hoses together so coolant still flows. Obviously in the original post (from 2 years ago hahaha) that would not correct the leak since the hose was clamped to pipe threads on the truck.

    My 2016 Cascadia does have shut off valves. But it only shuts off the supply (hot) side. No valve on the return (cold) side.
